Landy's Monsterpocalyptic Wishlist Wednesday

Well well well, what have we here? Why, it’s another treasure trove of miniatures to ogle and fawn over! Yes, it’s time again for another Wishlist Wednesday! Today’s edition is jam packed with some new plastic crack I’ve acquired and have set my sights on acquiring soon! Without further ado, let’s go!

So, in the midst of a terribly awful work day yesterday I received a message from the FLGS letting me know that my MONSTERPOCALYPSE preorder had arrived!

Initially I only ordered the Defender X Protectors set, but after getting to the shop I knew I had to buy the Destroyer set as well! Also picked up a couple of the support blisters as well to have a variety of minis to swap out in games and play as a tournament legal force.

I can hardly wait to get started on all of this new loot!

In other miniature madness, I’ve been following the Mortal Gods—Test of Courage facebook page where Andy Hobday and crew have been sharing their upcoming releases for the game, as well as “proxy” armies of sorts to get started with the beta rules of the game. Many folks have been using either Warlord or Victrix’s line of Ancient models for Spartans, Athenians and the like, and it’s been making it harder and harder for me not to get some models to start painting up a small force!

Quite the contrast of interests for sure! But that's just how it goes sometimes. It’s also the beauty of the hobby. Being able to dive head first into a sci-fi/kaiju game one minute, and then wanting to have an ancient army of warriors fighting with nothing but spears and shields the next! As if those two juxtaposed interests weren’t enough this week, I’ve also been habitually checking the Cruel Seas page for any more updates on that game. Most recently, they teased another few ships that have me itching to get this game preordered already.

November 2nd can’t get here fast enough!

So with that, another wishlist comes to a close. These are just a few of the miniatures, models, and games I’ve been pining over the last week or so. I’m sure I missed some, and I’m sure you all have your own to add to the list! Feel free to share them below or on the Facebook page!
